Jupiter Ascending - Vortex Tunnel / Grav Hull Concepts

I created these way way back in 2013/14. These concepts explored the creation of a tunnel through the gaseous clouds of Jupiter. this allowed ships to pass safely from orbit, to the refinery floating about the planet way below.

These first concepts explore the creation of the tunnel - what did it look like. The second series were some of many concepts created by the team (these were my versions), exploring the look of the gates that opened up to allow access to this refinery.
