Working with Production Designer James Clyne and the VFX team at ILM, these images explored how Nomad would look in shot - always present, an ominous shape in the sky. There were a lot of discussions as to where Nomad would sit in terms of altitude (and whether it could move up and down when required). A high orbit made the most sense, but the ability to move lower and almost reach high cloud cover would lead to some dramatic shots - especially if using a longer lense to really accentuate scale.
These concepts show some explorations for this, including early morning shots where Nomad is nothing more than a huge shape in the sky. Most of these use a 100-200mm lens so Nomad felt even bigger and brought the foreground and background together.
