Jupiter Ascending - Shadow Craft Cherry Bomb - Concepts 2014

Some older concepts from 2014, when I was working on Jupiter Ascending.

I had to work on some VFX concepts using the great ship designs from George Hull. The aim was to show use / look of thermionic energy and the deployment of deadly cherry bombs. You can see a variety of versions that I gave to the VFX Supe, along with how it appeared in the film. Funnily enough, I also worked as a Digital Matte painter on this show and spent quite some time adding in all the building damage and blast points you can see in this Chicago scene.
